Duncan ChandlerDirector
Duncan started as a volunteer in 1988 in Bridgnorth Motive Power Depot and worked his way up to become a passed fireman in 2005. In addition to that he is also a wine waiter on the Severn Valley Venturer, and has been part of the team who set up and run Santa operations at Arley each year since 1995.
Duncan is Head of Human Resources for Toolbank, a nationwide tool wholesaler, where he is involved in developing and supporting the management team across the twelve branches, with initiatives to increase profitability and reduce costs through the 700 people for whom he is responsible.
He was co-opted to the Board in 2009 and is working on projects with Nick Ralls to support him and his management team in taking the Railway forward for the next forty years.
