Visit to the Railway by Theresa Villiers, Minister of State for Transport, and MP’s.
the Heritage Railway All Party Parliamentary Committee on Friday 13th April. The event was attended by Theresa Villiers, Secretary of State for Transport and also members of the Heritage Railway Committee and HRA.
The opportunity was taken to familiarise the attendees with the SVR projects and present our plans for growth whilst highlighting issues that the APPG could help us with.
Ms Villiers took the opportunity to have a footplate ride on the locomotive and the group were given a guided tour of the workshops at Bridgnorth and The Engine House at Highley.
