To commemorate the 100th anniversary of HMS Hood's keel being laid, and the 75th anniversary of her sinking with the loss of all but three of the 1418 souls on board, The Class 50 Alliance and HMS Hood Association rededicated diesel locomotive No. D431/50031 Hood at midday on Saturday September 17th at Kidderminster Town Station.
HMS Hood Association members received reduced price tickets for travel.
