Depart Bridgnorth 10:00 (was 10.10) a.m. Arrive Bewdley 11:00 (was 10:59) a.m.
Depart Bewdley 11.12 a.m. Arrive Kidderminster 11:25 (was 11.23) a.m.
Depart Kidderminster 11:43 (was 11.45) a.m. Arrive Bewdley 11:54 (was 11.56) p.m.
Depart Bewdley 11:56 (was 12.00) a.m. Arrive Bridgnorth 12:54 (was 12.56) p.m.

On the same day, in addition to the charter, 813 will be returning the LMS brake van to Arley, leaving Bewdley at 3:40 p.m. and will then leave Arley for Kidderminster, light engine, at 5:03 p.m.

Please note for authenticity unless actually going trackside Hi-Viz should not be worn. Also bright red or green outer clothing should be avoided.

Cost: as below. You will also need a valid SVR ticket or pass, or some other means of getting to or from your start and finish point. Membership of the GWR 813 Preservation Fund is not required.
Vehicles: It is intended that the train will consist of:

goods wagons - GWR Opens 102691 & 13154, GWR Vanfit 65620 and GWR Gunpowder van 58725 (the most recently overhauled vehicles). Due to the increased stopping distance of an unfitted train and the need to keep within a normal timetable, we have had to limit the number of wagons in the train.

brake vans GWR Toad 68501, LMS 730866 and SR 55577. There will be two brake vans at one end and one at the other. The rearmost brake van in either direction is for the guard only and passengers will travel in the other two. All three brake vans have got stoves, so you can sit inside in the warm or enjoy the view from the veranda as you choose.

It's really happening this time, the crew are being rostered, the shunting to form the train is being arranged and it's in the operations diary. Details are still being finalised, but provisional arrangements are:

The SVR has agreed a provisional date of 18th February 2017, as it will hopefully have the Southern brake van No. 55577 ready by then. It will be a fitted freight, and there are currently eight fitted wagons in the goods train we can use, subject to checks on the vacuum and braking system.

The GWR 813 Preservation Fund invites expressions of interest only at this stage. The Fund hopes to discuss arrangements after the Pacific Power event with the General Manager and Operations Manager.

Stock: the Fund envisages using a few wagons with one brake van at each end to make running round easier.
​
Date: TBC. It is envisaged to be the 2nd or 3rd weekend in November.
​
Passenger capacity: circa 12 per trip. There is the possibility of trips over two days.
​
Guide price: £35.
​
Restrictions: TBC but possibly restricted to SVR working members and/or GWR 813 Fund members only.
GWR 813 Preservation Fund membership is only £25 for life.
