The 2009 Strategic Document was the first produced by the SVR as an agreed roadmap for the future development of the Severn Valley Railway up to 2020. It is felt that 2017 is an appropriate time to both review the achievements of the last seven years, sense check the original themes and targets and to bring in other priorities that have emerged.
