A major redevelopment of the mainline station at Kidderminster is underway. The project is being managed by SLC Rail and the works undertaken by contractors Buckingham Group. The work has involved the reconfiguration of the existing road and forecourt area and demolition of the existing station building. The project is planned to be completed in Autumn 2019. The SVR is in regular communication with the project team and contractors to ensure that there will be no disruption to SVR operations, in particular the provision of parking at Kidderminster, whilst the work progresses.
